We are seeking an experienced AEC marketer to lead pursuit and marketing efforts primarily for the Cultural, Public Works, and Urban Design markets. Comprised of excellent communicators and enthusiastic problem-solvers, our marketers are committed to internal client service, poised under the pressure of fast-paced deadlines, and have a solutions-focused, flexible attitude.

This position will report to the Northeast Region Marketing Manager and work closely with other sector-focused marketing leaders.

 

Responsibilities

  • Partners with senior studio members, leading the coordination and production of materials, primarily the response to RFQ/Ps and interview presentations, SF330 development, award submissions, and other marketing material to support brand building and business development efforts. 
  • Leads kickoff meetings with project leadership to understand strategy for pursuit deliverables.
  • Manages procurement site registrations to facilitate proper notification of solicitations, and accurate representation of the firm across key sites.
  • Coordinates interview presentation run-throughs with pursuit team, sharing feedback and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Effectively communicates the brand through development of custom visual and written content that demonstrates an understanding of the industry and a passion for design excellence.
  • Coordinates with internal team members and outside partners/consultants to understand key differentiators, identifying and collecting information needed to support marketing them.
  • Effectively prioritizes competing deadlines, maintaining communication with all stakeholders.
  • Regularly maintains and updates CRM data, SharePoint resource library content, and OpenAsset digital assets (e.g., photography, renderings, plans).
  • Leads the development of materials that speak to specific needs for each sector.
  • Prioritizes team and firm culture embracing various forms of connection and engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3-7 years of experience in the A/E/C industry, government procurement experience is a bonus.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, primarily InDesign, as well as PowerPoint.
  • Working within a strong brand, adhering to brand guidelines and established processes.
  • Takes a client service-driven and solutions-focused approach to verbal and written communication.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment as a proactive, resourceful self-starter.
  • Impeccable time management skills with effective prioritization capabilities.
  • Has strong organizational skills in managing the coordination of large pursuit teams to gather and organize data for complex pursuits.
  • Excels in relationship building and collaboration, functioning as an integrated team member.
  • Is confident in facilitating and leading conversations with senior studio members, comfortably offering ideas, providing feedback, and presenting work.

 

This position is designated as full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Regular, reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this role.

Base Salary Range: $66,000 - $90,000 annually – Washington D.C. location only 

 

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in Washington D.C. only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
