About the Role

Core Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with BU sales and marketing teams to create accurate forecasts and meaningful insights for new product launches, promotions and account level plans (flows)

  • Build dashboards, analyse historical data and drive benchmark analysis to suggest the correct forecast levels for key SKU’s

  • Develop SKU level forecast based on insights received from other teams and statistical models provided by the systems

  • Connect short-term and long-term plans between BU team and Regional DP team to ensure correct inventory levels across the value chain

  • Monitor the BU performance and initiate corrective actions if necessary based on the findings

  • Be an active participant of S&OP process and facilitate key meetings together with BU DP teams

Do you have what it takes?

  • Degree in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent working experience within supply chain and/or commercial planning roles

  • Prior working experience within forecasting and/or Sales & Operations (S&OP) roles

  • Previous experience using data and analytics tools including Power Query

  • Familiarity with additional data and analytics tools including SAP, Excel, PowerBI

  • An ability to build and maintain working relationships across cross-functional teams, including, but not limited to Sales, Marketing and Operations

The Operations team in the Singapore Malaysia Travel Retail (SMTR) Business Unit (BU) ensures seamless flow of information from our direct and distributor markets to the supply chain and ensures the flow of goods back to the markets. You will work in collaboration to on demand planning activities with sales and marketing teams, as well as deepening the partnership with regional Supply Chain Operations team and customers.

Having the right forecast allows the LEGO Group to minimize excess inventory in our own DC’s and customers, ensure product availability in the right place in the right quantity and at the right time.
