DePuy Synthes is recruiting for an APAC Regional Support, located in Central Singapore, Singapore or Tokyo, Japan.
Job Overview
This role provides regional operational and clinical support to the APAC Clinical Medical Affairs organization. The APAC Regional Support partner works closely with regional and country clinical teams to enable effective execution of clinical programs, education activities, and medical initiatives across the region. This position plays a critical role in ensuring alignment, consistency, and operational excellence while supporting high‑quality clinical engagement with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Support APAC Clinical Medical Affairs leaders with coordination and execution of regional clinical and medical activities.
Assist in planning, tracking, and maintaining documentation for clinical education programs, advisory boards, and medical initiatives.
Coordinate cross‑functional activities with regional and country stakeholders, including Regulatory, Quality, and Commercial partners.
Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations to support regional clinical operations and decision‑making.
Ensure accurate tracking of budgets, purchase orders, and vendor activities related to clinical medical affairs programs.
Support compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations governing clinical and medical activities.
Facilitate communication and information flow between regional and local clinical medical affairs teams.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and ways of working across APAC Clinical Medical Affairs.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required (Life Sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, or related field preferred).
Experience and Skills:
Required:
Typically requires 4–6 years of relevant work experience in clinical, medical affairs, healthcare, or regulated industry support roles.
Experience supporting regional or cross‑country teams in a matrixed organization.
Strong organizational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Affairs within the medical device or pharmaceutical industry.
Familiarity with APAC healthcare systems and regional operating models.
Experience supporting clinical education programs or investigator‑initiated studies.
Exposure to compliance, documentation, or quality processes in regulated environments.
Strong stakeholder management skills across cultures and geographies.
Other:
Language: Fluency in English required; additional APAC languages are an advantage.
Travel: Up to 10–20% regional travel across APAC.
Certifications: None required.
Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.
