About the Role
Full-Time Bartender
El Camino Country Club – Oceanside, CA
El Camino Country Club is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Full-Time Bartender to join our team. Located in beautiful Oceanside, our club prides itself on delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our members and guests.
Position Details:
- Pay: $16.90 per hour + tips
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Oceanside, California
- This position is non-exempt and eligible for overtime pay in accordance with California law
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service and build rapport with members and guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor guest consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol
- Accurately handle cash, credit transactions, and POS system
- Assist with bar inventory and restocking as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience required
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, and wine service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must be dependable, team-oriented, and guest-focused
- Valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
