About the Role

General Description of Position:

Responsible for supplying all parts and materials to packaging areas to be packed for shipment

to the dealership network via small parcel UPS and LTL freight. Stages parts in shipping area, verifies that parts pulled are correct and quantities are correct, boxes parts to be delivered undamaged. Create and print pick tickets within the EPICOR computer system. Operate UPS scheduling equipment, processes shipments & invoicing within EPICOR. Crate large items for shipment. Create bill of ladings and book LTL shipments thru the ASM system. Performs cycle counts and does physical inventory as required. Cross-trains to assist in other warehouse positions as dictated by workload. Takes pictures of parts, to be uploaded for use in Dealer-Connect.


Duties:

Pull parts and supplies for shipping areas, stocks parts in shipping areas, packs parts for shipment, performs cycle counts and physical inventory. Uses cherry picker and/or forklift to pull and stock parts and supplies, as well as physically handle and lift parts and supplies. - 60%


Fill materials and parts pick tickets and/or various manually prepared pull sheets and initiate back orders. 20%

Maintain clean work area. 10%

Perform other related duties as assigned.  10%

 

Education & Work Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Previous warehouse/stock room experience preferred. Must be able to read and understand instructions. Must be able to operate fork truck and cherry picker, without fear of heights.


Environmental and Working Conditions: Work is in production environment where temperature and ventilation are controlled. Will be required to work inside and outside, regardless of weather conditions. A normal duty requires climbing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, turning, and twisting. Moderate to heavy lifting (50 to 100 lbs.), with or without accommodation, is required. Talking, hearing and normal vision are required.

 

Skills & Aptitudes:

Language skills-Able to understand spoken instructions regarding job training and safety concerns and the ability to speak conversational English.

Reasoning skills-Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed finishing of all products. Ability to deal with changes related to equipment use and productivity.

Computer Skills–Must have basic understanding of computers, and willing to learn Epicor system.

Travel: No travel required in this position.
