Are you a technology professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems, and helping people succeed? LIFE Senior Services is seeking an experienced IT Specialist to serve as the primary internal technology resource for our organization while partnering closely with our managed service provider.
In this role, you'll help ensure employees across LIFE Senior Services, LIFE PACE, and Vintage Housing have the technology, tools, and support they need to serve our mission. You'll coordinate technology projects, support users, manage technology assets, oversee vendor relationships, assist with cybersecurity initiatives, and help drive technology improvements across the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Technology Support & User Services
- Serve as the primary internal point of contact for technology-related questions and support needs.
- Coordinate and assist with troubleshooting technology issues alongside our managed service provider.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including account setup, access management, equipment deployment, and system permissions.
- Assist employees with technology-related training and support.
Vendor & Technology Management
- Act as the primary liaison between LIFE Senior Services and external technology vendors, including 501 Tech.
- Coordinate support requests, escalations, projects, and system implementations.
- Monitor vendor responsiveness, project progress, and service quality.
- Assist with technology contracts, software licensing, warranties, and service agreements.
Systems & Operations
- Maintain inventory of computers, mobile devices, software licenses, and related technology equipment.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration, user account management, and technology access controls.
- Assist with maintaining IT documentation, procedures, standards, and asset records.
- Coordinate software upgrades, technology rollouts, and system enhancements.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, user access reviews, device management, and security best practices.
- Assist with security awareness training and employee education efforts.
- Help ensure technology compliance and data protection standards are maintained.
Strategic Technology Initiatives
- Participate in evaluating and recommending new technology solutions.
- Assist leadership with technology planning, budgeting, and operational improvements.
- Review technology-related expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
- Support technology projects that improve workflows, communication, and organizational effectiveness.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, technology coordination, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 administration and business technology systems.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user access issues.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience working with managed service providers (MSPs) or outsourced IT vendors.
- Experience supporting multi-site organizations.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and access management.
- Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, senior services, or multi-entity organizations.
