Job Summary:  

The Assembler I works under supervision to assemble and test basic electronic control products. This role follows detailed work instructions, assembly drawings, and job tickets to ensure products meet quality and performance standards. The Assembler I also supports packaging, labeling, documentation, and ERP data entry while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Assemble products - Build electronic control products using job tickets and assembly drawings. 
  • Align parts - Position and adjust components for proper fit. 
  • Record production data - Log quantities built/tested and complete daily work orders. 
  • Use ERP system - Enter job ticket information and follow ERP procedures. 
  • Follow work orders - Perform assigned tasks and report unclear or missing instructions. 
  • Maintain work area - Keep workspace clean, organized, and compliant with standards. 
  • Report equipment issues - Notify management of equipment malfunctions. 
  • Support quality - Follow all quality procedures and work instructions. 
  • Follow safety rules - Adhere to safety policies to protect yourself and others. 
  • Comply with ITAR - Follow all applicable ITAR regulations. 
  • Perform quality checks - Inspect parts/products for conformance with drawings. 
  • Verify orders - Confirm package quantities and order completeness. 
  • Use tools/equipment - Operate production tools safely and effectively. 
  •  Label parts - Apply identification labels to components. 
  • Adhere to federal and state regulations. 
  • Adhere to all company policies, processes, and procedures. 
  • Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.  
  • Predictable and reliable attendance. 

Requirements

 

Position Qualifications:  

  • Education/Learning Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. 
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of manufacturing/production experience, job shop environment, and assembly experience preferred. 
  • Skills/Knowledge: Attention to detail and strong manual dexterity. Basic math skills. English reading/writing - Ability to read, write, and speak clearly. Instruction following - Ability to follow detailed work instructions independently. Teamwork - Proven team player with a professional, results-oriented approach. Work ethic - Punctual, reliable, and committed to high standards of quality and safety. Flexibility - Ability to adapt to changing requirements. ERP familiarity preferred.
