About the Role

About Us

STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionising the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop, and manufacture high-performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost-effective — providing operators with a decisive edge in contested environments.

We are focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems — not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe, today.

About the team

Your mission

As a Data & Automation Analyst in the Operations Excellence team, you make our data analysis, automation, and visualization as streamlined and efficient as possible. You use AI coding tools to build the dashboards, applications, and automations that turn manual, repetitive data work into reliable, self-running processes. By providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date data, you give management a trustworthy basis for decisions — and you make visible what would otherwise stay hidden, improving our data structures and collection processes proactively and consistently.

Responsibilities

  • Build business analytics dashboards that surface KPI development and trends

  • Automate recurring data tasks to eliminate manual upkeep and reduce errors

  • Build tailor-made applications, databases, and integrations between our core systems

  • Analyze raw data generated in our core systems and translate it into clear insight

  • Use AI coding tools to rapidly prototype, build, and improve internal tools

  • Proactively improve data quality, structure, and collection processes

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to build something functional with AI coding tools — personal projects, internships, or working-student experience all count

  • Working knowledge of at least one coding language, or clear evidence you can pick one up quickly with AI assistance

  • Curiosity to deep-dive into existing processes and the motivation to improve what you find

  • Care for data accuracy and rigor, especially when building tools others will rely on for decisions

  • Proactivity in learning new skills, making suggestions, and working independently

  • Business-fluent English & German

Nice to have

  • Previous experience building databases (private, internship, or working-student experience)

  • Previous experience building business analytics dashboards

  • Familiarity with BI tools and/or data pipeline concepts
