About the Role

About You

You are someone who enjoys solving complex problems and working in live environments. You are comfortable navigating existing systems, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and performance.
You are proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining clear communication with both technical teams and client stakeholders.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience with Java / Java EE and Spring / Spring Boot.
  • Working knowledge of Angular / AngularJS for UI fixes and enhancements.
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (queries, debugging, troubleshooting).
  • Familiarity with JBoss or Apache application servers.
  • Experience working with AWS (monitoring, deployments, or troubleshooting in cloud environments).
  • Knowledge of Linux commands and Bash scripting.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
  • Exposure to Groovy, PHP, or legacy systems. (Nice to have)
  • Advanced English proficiency is required, as you will work directly with US-based clients.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor the support ticket queue and production alerts.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents.
  • Participate in operational and control calls with client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Dev, QA, and DevOps teams to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes.
  • Support deployment processes and validate post-release stability.
  • Contribute to performance improvements, automation initiatives, and system optimization.
  • Maintain clear and accurate documentation of issues and technical resolutions.
