About the Role

Occupational Therapist (Home Health) – Flexible Schedule | Metro Detroit Area

AmeriStaff Nursing Services is looking for Occupational Therapists to provide in-home care to our patients in the Metro Detroit area. The perfect candidate will be professional and compassionate to provide meaningful, one-on-one care to our patient. This is a contingent position that pays $75 per 1-hour for an evaluation and $75 per 1-hour for a visit, and a great opportunity to gain experience, while having a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments

  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals

  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve functional independence and daily living skills

  • Educate patients and family members on treatment strategies and home safety

  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required

  • Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan

  • Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance

  • Minimum of one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage patient schedules effectively

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Commitment to HIPAA compliance and professional standards
