We are looking for mechanically inclined, detail-oriented Overhaul Technician who takes pride in quality work and enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding equipment to like new conditions.

What You Will Do.

As an Overhaul Technician, you will be responsible for disassembling, inspecting, repairing, rebuilding, and reassembling natural gas compressors, and related equipment.  You will work closely with Operations, Manufacturing and Field Service teams to ensure equipment is restored to optimal performance and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and rebuild compressor systems
• Diagnose equipment failures and determine repair requirements
• Inspect components for wear, damage and serviceability
• Repair, replace, and reassemble mechanical components according to specifications
• Perform preventative maintenance and overhaul activities
• Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings and repair procedures
• Maintain accurate repair documentation and records
• Assist with testing and verification of completed repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
• Experience working on engines, compressors, pumps, or rotating equipment
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prefer experience with compressors, oil and gas industry experience and previous overhaul experience
