Director of US Strategy

The Director of U.S. Ministry Strategy provides strategic leadership, research oversight, and framework development for Every Home’s emerging U.S. Ministry expression. Working within the Office of the President, this role develops the strategies, models, and methods that shape how Every Home inspires and empowers the Church in the United States. The Director synthesizes theological, cultural, and research-based insights to establish ministry frameworks, guide resource direction, and define engagement strategies aligned with the President/CEO’s vision. The role collaborates with internal divisions, external partners, and project execution support to ensure that U.S. Ministry initiatives are aligned, well-coordinated, and executed with excellence. The Director maintains ownership of U.S. Ministry strategy, frameworks, and resource direction, ensuring they reflect organizational identity and advance ministry-wide objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.
- Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct,Every Home for Christ Christian Community Conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ’s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ’s Covenant of Harmony, and Enduring Foundations and continuously uplods the ministry in prayer.
- Participates in our Christ – centered community through working in the HQ office and actively demonstrate Every Home cultural values.
- Uphold and convey Every Home for Christ’s religious message and beliefs, including the Every Home Mission, Vision, and Three Unalterable Convictions, to local church leadership, other staff persons, donors, volunteers, and persons around the world.
- Conduct and lead Every Home for Christ corporate prayer on a regular basis and daily mobilize prayer for US Ministry work.
- Exemplifies Christian leadership by maintaining a mature Christian climate within the organization and encouraging spiritual development of staff through Biblical teaching and being a living example of Every Home for Christ values and expectations.
U.S. Ministry Strategy & Framework Development- Lead the development of the long-term strategic framework for U.S. Ministry, integrating theological, cultural, and organizational insights.
- Discern, articulate, and refine the models, methodologies, and ministry approaches that define Every Home’s U.S. expression.
- Develop foundational strategy documents, including the U.S. Ministry White Paper and internal ministry frameworks.
- Establish ministry methods based on research, prototyping, and learning cycles, ensuring alignment with organizational identity.
- Provide strategic clarity to project execution support regarding priorities, deliverables, and timelines related to U.S. Ministry initiatives.
- Maintain decision-making authority over U.S. Ministry strategy, conceptual direction, and framework articulation.
Research, Learning, and Insight Integration - Oversee research initiatives related to neighboring, spiritual openness, church equipping, demographic realities, and cultural trends.
- Guide quantitative and qualitative research processes, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and user-feedback cycles.
- Integrate insights from research into strategic frameworks, messaging approaches, and resource development.
- Partner with internal divisions (Marketing, Communications, Advancement) to ensure research findings inform messaging and engagement pathways.
- Translate learning outcomes into actionable ministry strategies and organizational recommendations.
Resource Design Direction & Content Oversight - Provide strategic direction for U.S. Ministry resources, including individual, church-facing, and digital tools.
- Define theological, missional, and pedagogical goals for resources that inspire and empower the Church to love their neighbors.
- Oversee prototyping, testing, and refinement of resources using feedback cycles, field learnings, and cultural insights.
- Ensure resources reflect the Carry Christ and Love Your Neighbor frameworks.
- Collaborate with Communications leadership to ensure messaging clarity, theological integrity, and resonance across U.S. Ministry materials.
- Provide direction and clarity to project execution support in the development and production of U.S. Ministry resources.
Cross-Department Collaboration & Organizational Alignment - Serve as the primary internal point of strategic clarity for U.S. Ministry across organizational divisions.
- Work closely with Marketing, Communications, Advancement, and other divisions to ensure that U.S. Ministry strategies are aligned with broader organizational priorities.
- Ensure U.S. Ministry resources, messaging, and engagement pathways integrate seamlessly with the organization’s existing systems and workflows.
- Communicate strategic direction, research insights, and ministry priorities to internal stakeholders to maintain organizational alignment.
- Define expectations, objectives, and timelines for project execution support involved in U.S. Ministry initiatives.
Partnership Development & External Representation - Build and maintain relationships with churches, networks, ministry partners, distributors, and external organizations supporting U.S. Ministry strategy.
- Identify and evaluate external collaborators who can support research, distribution, prototype testing, or strategic development.
- Represent U.S. Ministry strategy in external engagements when appropriate, while the President/CEO remains the primary public-facing leader.
Supervisory & Oversight Responsibilities - Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to contractors, consultants, researchers, and creative partners supporting U.S. Ministry work.
- Offer supervisory oversight of work outputs—reviewing, evaluating, and approving deliverables—without direct-report authority.
- Guide internal contributors and cross-functional collaborators involved in U.S. Ministry projects, ensuring alignment with strategic frameworks and objectives.
- Lead through clarity, expertise, collaboration, and influence rather than positional authority.
- Provides assistance in other areas as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Actively participates/attends a local church
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Ministry Leadership, Organizational Leadership, Missiology, Social Sciences, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: 5 years experience AND 3 years of leadership experience
- Certifications/Licensing: Pastoral/Minister license
- Passion for the mission of Every Home for Christ
- Strong personal commitment to their own relationship with the Lord

- Working Environment: In office five days per week; typical office environment; typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties and business demand.
