📅 Hours: 42 hours per week: 4 days on, 4 days off & 4 nights on, 4 nights off

We’re looking for future SOC Operators to start a meaningful career making a difference every day. If you enjoy problem-solving, staying calm under pressure, and helping others, this could be the perfect opportunity.

No experience is needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You’ll receive full training and support from day one as SOC Operators.

Join our 12‑month Security Control Room Apprenticeship (plus 3 months assessment) and gain hands‑on experience alongside experienced teams. Our Security Operations Centres support major global clients across various sectors, helping you build a successful future as SOC Operators.

What you’ll be doing day to day as an Apprentice:

• Respond to alarm activations across multiple platforms
• Monitor CCTV and deliver timely, accurate responses
• Support mobile teams during call-outs
• Liaise with customers, contractors and emergency services
• Keep systems updated and maintain high-quality reporting
• Provide support during adverse weather, emergencies or incidents

What you'll need:

Firstly, you don’t need security experience — we’ll teach you everything!

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is 18 or over
• Has GCSE Maths or English at Grade C/4 (or willing to complete them during the apprenticeship)
• Communicates clearly and confidently
• Enjoys helping people
• Can stay focused under pressure
• Pays attention to detail
• Works well in a team
• Is eager to learn and grow
• Demonstrates integrity, vigilance and helpfulness — our core values
