The successful candidate will contribute to a research project focused on the analysis of spatial transcriptomics data from growth hormone-secreting pituitary tumours causing acromegaly.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Processing, analysing, and interpreting spatial transcriptomics datasets generated from acromegaly-associated pituitary tumours.
  • Integrating multi-omics datasets, including transcriptomic, spatial transcriptomic, genomic, epigenomic, and clinical data.
  • Developing and validating predictive models of treatment response using advanced statistical approaches, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms.
  • Implementing and optimizing bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput sequencing and multi-omics data analysis.
  • Collaborating with clinicians, molecular biologists, and bioinformaticians in a multidisciplinary research environment.
  • Contributing to scientific publications, project reports, grant applications, and dissemination of research findings at national and international conferences.
