Salary: £12.71PH

32.5 Hours P/W Mon - Fri

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Front of house general Assistant to join our team in Linlithgow, United Kingdom. As a General Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by providing efficient and friendly service.

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in dining and kitchen areas
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service operations
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and company guidelines
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas
  • Process guest payments accurately and efficiently
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance service quality
  • Support special events and catering services as needed
  • Genuine passion for food service and customer satisfaction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry items for extended periods
  • Attention to detail in food presentation and guest service
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry preferred
  • Mon - Fri work week

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in catering, food service, or hospitality is desirable.
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge or certification is a plus (training available).
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
  • Attention to detail with a focus on high standards of presentation and service.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of COSHH regulations and food safety legislation desirible but not essential as training will be given.
  • Rate Per Hour: £12.71
  • Employment Type: Permanent

  • Compensation: up to GBP 12.71 - monthly
