Hammond Lumber Company, voted 2025's Best Places to Work in Maine, is seeking a Full-Time Yard Attendant for our Machias, Maine location.


Job Responsibilities

  • Operates forklift and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload and store materials in the yard
  • Provides customer service
  • Position requires heavy lifting

Requirements

  • Forklift experience a plus, but not a requirement
  • Experience in handling building materials is a plus
  • The preferred candidate will have a clean and valid driver's license
  • The ideal candidate would be available weekends
