We have over 65 years of spotter truck repair experience and we provide our customers with world class service customized to their unique spotter truck needs. We restore customer's spotter trucks back to zero mile condition as well as being a retailer for pre-owned spotter trucks. We offer a complete preventive maintenance program and a stocked parts department. Our mobile mechanic will come to you when on site repairs are needed. We can complete your project on time and on budget.
About the Role

Description

Renew Truck is a spotter truck specialist repairing and remanufacturing yard trucks nationwide. As a Technician (Level I, II, or III), you will be responsible for performing repair, remanufacturing, and maintenance tasks with attention to quality, safety, and efficiency. Levels are based on skill and experience:

  • Level I (Entry-Level): Disassembly, cleaning, and assisting senior technicians.
     
  • Level II: Independently troubleshoot driveline and electrical faults, perform basic repairs, use diagnostic tools/software, and assist Level III.
     
  • Level III: Master-level troubleshooting and repair (driveline, electrical, A/C), completing jobs independently, final inspections, and mentoring.
     

Technicians report directly to the Shop Foreman.

Requirements

 Job Requirements

  • Level I: Basic mechanical skills
  • Levels II & III: Skilled tool use, diagnostic software proficiency, own tools required
    • Preferred: 3+ years’ experience in heavy-duty truck mechanics 
  • Must have own tools (required)
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills 
  • Ability to collaborate and work in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Physical requirements:
    • Sit, stand, walk, climb stairs
    • Safely lift up to 50 lbs
    • Communicate effectively with team members
