Overview

Shuttle Cart Driver provides safe, efficient, and friendly inter-campus transportation service to passengers, utilizing the Wellstar Kennestone Hospital shuttle cart system. This is an entry level role, previous job experience as a driver is ideal but not required. Valid Driver’s License required.


Shift

  • Monday - Thursday 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Drive passengers to and from designated locations on campus in a safe and timely manner
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to passengers
  • Ensure shuttle cart vehicle is clean and free of debris at all times
  • Log accurate passenger counts each hour and report data as needed
  • Report any shuttle cart maintenance issues to supervisor immediately
  • Obey all traffic laws at all times
  • Adhere to Cornerstone’s mission, core values, and cultural standards

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license, responsible driving record
  • Previous driver experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • High standard of integrity
  • Possess a positive attitude, professional and courteous demeanor
  • Remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things
  • Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language
  • Able to sit for extended periods of time (approximately 90% of the work day)
  • Able to work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, rain, etc.
