The Parakar Group was founded in The Netherlands around the turn of the millennium by Johan Opperman, having had a preceding career at various companies in north-west Europe. As an International Sales Consultant, you are much more than a commercial point of contact. You are a trusted advisor, sparring partner, and guide for organizations looking to expand internationally. Your role is not only to provide solutions, but also to give clients the confidence to grow internationally while minimizing risk.
 
You will work closely with our Marketing and Sales teams. Marketing provides you with high-quality leads, and together with your four Sales colleagues, you will turn these opportunities into consultancy projects and long-term client relationships. You will report directly to the Head of Sales and will have plenty of freedom to take initiative and further develop your advisory role.
 
What You'll Do
Every day, you will speak with ambitious companies facing important strategic decisions.
Can an employee be hired locally? Is a legal entity required? What are the risks related to employment law, payroll, or compliance? You will analyze each situation, ask the right questions, and recommend the most suitable solution.
 
Your responsibilities include:
  • Advising and supporting clients on international expansion strategies and HR-related challenges;
  • Conducting advisory meetings (primarily online) with international companies;
  • Preparing and presenting tailored solutions and recommendations;
  • Translating complex client challenges into practical and achievable solutions;
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Consultancy, and international specialists to deliver the best possible client experience;
  • Monitoring market developments and identifying opportunities for new consultancy services.

You are curious, analytically strong, and excel in conversations with entrepreneurs, executives, and decision-makers. You enjoy understanding complex challenges and helping organizations make well-informed decisions.
 
You recognize yourself in the following:
  • You have a Bachelor's degree (HBO) or Master's degree (WO), or equivalent working and thinking level;
  • You are intelligent, curious, and learn quickly;
  • You are an excellent communicator and know how to build trust at all levels within an organization;
  • You have an affinity with international expansion, global HR, and consultancy;
  • You are proactive, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented;
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and pursuing ambitious goals as part of a team;
  • You are fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
  • You thrive in an international, dynamic, and professional environment.

  • A starting salary between €2,890 and €3,550 gross per month, depending on experience;
