About the Role

Description

Perched on our second floor circular balcony—surrounding a massive stone chimney—the Rams Head Bar is the perfect location for family-friendly drinks and snacks with stunning views of Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. The extensive beverage menu features a historic and locally-inspired cocktails selection, a variety of hot drinks to warm up after playing in the snow, and Mt. Hood Brewing Co. microbrews. 


Essential Functions

  • Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed, according to company policy.
  • Ensure daily reports IDT sheets, spoilage sheets, invoices are properly filled out and routed.
  • Maintain prep and par stock at adequate levels in accordance with projected business levels.
  • Routinely monitor security of premises including checking perimeter doors and windows with general observation of employees, customers and the facilities.
  • Clean and organize storage areas, loading dock, walk-in, coolers, freezers and bottle sorting area as needed.
  • Ensure goods are properly received and stored in a timely fashion.
  • Assist with cleaning and oversee work habits to ensure sanitation of bar/ restaurant areas. Maintain sanitation quality to meet Health Department standards.
  • Alert Supervisor or Manager of any maintenance concerns.
  • Actively participate in RLK and Company’s Health & Safety Program by identifying and reporting potential hazards, reporting incidents, and promoting a healthy workplace.
  • Exercise stewardship of all RLK and Company facilities and environments, ensuring that efforts are made to reduce, reuse, and recycle when the opportunity is present.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Requirements


  • Must be service oriented.
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to set and meet high customer service standards.
  • Must use proper etiquette while conversing with guests.
  • Must have detailed knowledge of menu offerings.
  • Must be proficient in up-selling of products and services.
  • Must know and follow all proper service and reservation procedures.
  • Must have valid OLCC and Oregon Food Handlers permit.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must be flexible and capable of bending, twisting and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work in tight space with balance and poise.
  • Must be able to work on feet, stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time.
  • Must be able to keep up with the pace of the department demands of the position.
