About The Company
Om Mushroom Superfood, designed to promote health, wellness and longevity is the brainchild of health wellness and integrative medicine enthusiast Sandra Carter, M.A., MPH, Ph.D. and mycologist Steve Farrar. Sandra spent over 30 years in the wellness profession as a researcher, and specialist in community, corporate and hospital disease prevention programs. She was introduced to Farrar who had spent 30 years growing mushrooms and who had recently developed a unique technology for producing a variety of powerful mushroom strains in an organic, clean room facility. As Carter began researching the benefits of the mushroom varieties, she realized there was a significant market potential for certified organic made in the USA medicinal mushroom products. These types of extremely powerful mushrooms such as Cordyceps, Reishi, Lion’s Mane and others are virtually unknown in Western Cultures – and yet are highly revered in Asian medicine. For thousands of years in Eastern Cultures, mushrooms have been recognized for their ability to optimize immune health, and are accepted as adjunct therapy for serious health conditions. Steve Farrar and Sandra Carter both saw a window of opportunity to increase awareness in Western Cultures about the benefits of mushrooms through the development of an innovative line of whole-food organic powders that can be easily added to your everyday eating routine. Today, each of the species used in Om’s certified organic mushroom powders are produced in the company’s Carlsbad, California facility. They include the full life-cycle of the mushrooms species, capturing nature’s incredible bioactivity in a fascinating growing process. Om takes pride in introducing their line of nutritious, easy to use innovative products and spread the experience of the benefits of the Mighty, Magnificent Mushroom!
About the Role

Description

We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who has a builder mentality and ready to accelerate Om. You've grown channels rapidly, owned a full-funnel digital strategy, and you know how to connect paid, organic, influencer, DTC and Amazon into one coherent growth plan. You'll report to the Director of Brand & Innovation and be our in-house digital engine, setting the strategy and managing execution end-to-end, shaping how the brand shows up across platforms, communities and culture.

  • Lead the development of a social-first brand strategy, content, and activation — own the brand's voice and presence across all platforms
  • Paid media direction & execution — manage spend efficiently and optimize relentlessly across channels
  • Influencer & creator ecosystem — build and manage a best-in-class creator program, including TikTok Shop strategy and execution
  • Performance reporting & optimization — track what matters, cut what doesn't, and double down on what works
  • Engagement & collaboration execution — activate partnerships and community moments that build brand love
  • DTC strategy alignment — integrate digital marketing into the full direct-to-consumer funnel
  • Define social KPIs (engagement, reach, sentiment, conversion) 
  • Track, analyze and optimize campaign performance, garnering insights to refine the strategy 
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity in evolving business objectives, new product launches, KPIs, and insights.

Requirements

  • 5-6+ years of digital marketing experience — brand side strongly preferred; DTC experience mandatory
  • Wellness or CPG background a strong plus — you understand this consumer and this category
  • Channel builder — you can show us a channel you grew meaningfully
  • Full-funnel owner — paid, organic, influencer, and DTC are one integrated plan in your head, not separate swim lanes
  • Strategy + execution skills — you can write the brief and then execute against it yourself
  • TikTok-native — you understand how the platform works, not just theoretically, and you've driven results on it
  • Data-driven — you make decisions based on performance, not instinct alone, and you can prove it
  • Highly autonomous — you don't need someone to hand you a playbook; you build the playbook
