About the Role

Description

Wild Bill's Tobacco is looking for a Bartender to mix and serve drinks to our loyal customers. Responsibilities include:

  • Verify the customers’ ages
  • Mix traditional and creative cocktails
  • Process payment
  • Clean glasses and bar utensils
  • Ensure cleanliness of bar to meet OSHA standards
  • Make suggestions based on customer tastes and preferences
  • Record and balance cash receipts and prepare cash deposits
  • Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift
  • Build a rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
  • Maintain inventory of drinks/alcohol

Requirements

  • Knowledge of applicable laws
  • Must have experience with cash handling
  • Customer service skills
  • Able to enforce company policies regarding consumption of alcohol
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Understanding of complimentary flavor pairings
