Position Summary: 

The purpose of this job is to support the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/AML/OFAC program by ensuring that all data used for monitoring, investigations, and reporting is accurate, complete, and reliable. Because BSA programs depend heavily on data-driven systems (e.g., AML monitoring software, customer risk scoring, CTR aggregation), this role fills the critical gap between IT, Compliance, and Operations.

Essential Task Statements:

Branch Credit/Ownership 

BSA System Administration

  • Serve as a system administrator for BSA/AML monitoring platforms, CTR systems, and case management tools.
  • Maintain system parameters, user access, role permissions, and workflows in accordance with internal controls.
  • Coordinate system updates, enhancements, and testing with vendors, IT, and compliance management.

Data Integrity and Quality Control

  • Monitor data feeds from core systems and ancillary systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify, research, and resolve data issues impacting transaction monitoring, CTR, SAR, or OFAC processes.
  • Perform ongoing data validation and reconciliation to ensure regulatory reporting accuracy.

Reporting and Data Support

  • Produce routine and ad‑hoc BSA/AML reports for management, audits, and regulatory exams.
  • Support CTR, SAR, OFAC, and monitoring processes by ensuring data extracts and system outputs are accurate.
  • Assist with trend analysis, metrics, and risk reporting for the BSA Officer and senior management.

Program and Examination Support

  • Support internal audits, independent testing, and regulatory examinations by providing documentation, system information, and data reports.
  • Assist in documenting system controls, data flows, and procedures related to BSA/AML technology.
  • Participate in model validations and tuning efforts related to transaction monitoring systems.

Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with BSA Specialists, IT, Operations, and vendors to resolve issues impacting BSA workflows.
  • Respond to requests from BSA management regarding data analysis, system functionality, or reporting needs.
  • Assist with training staff on system functionality and data‑related procedures, as applicable.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Ensure all system administration activities comply with BSA/AML regulations, internal policies, and examiner expectations.
  • Maintain clear documentation of system settings, changes, and data controls.
  • Stay current on regulatory changes impacting BSA/AML data, reporting, and technology.


 Customer Service

  • Represent Guaranty Bank professionally, efficiently, and tactfully
  • Acknowledge and greet customers with a smile, call customer by their name, ask if they need any additional assistance, thank customer at end of every conversation—both internal and external
  • Ensure continuing development of professional relationships with management and colleagues. 
  • Answer and assist incoming callers with questions and requests, subsequently route callers, as appropriate.


Ensure bank complies with federal banking regulations including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Community Reinvestment Act, American with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Federal Reserve’s “lettered” regulations, and BSA Data Administrator roles and responsibilities relating to each act.

Position Qualifications 

  Education: Required – High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred – Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field.

Experience: Required – 2 years of experience in a BSA administrative support.; Preferred – 2 to 5 years of experience with Nasdaq Verafin AML Technology.

Other: High proficiency with computers, excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (word processing, spreadsheets, and database systems), Outlook, Teams. Nasdaq Verafin System knowledge, Strong technical documentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
