McDaniel Supply Company is seeking a strategic, people-focused Site Manager to lead commissary operations within a detention facility in Spartanburg, SC. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing and developing staff, ensuring compliance, and driving high standards of service delivery.

The ideal candidate is a principled, effective leader with strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with staff, facility partners, and company leadership. This role combines operational expertise with a commitment to developing a positive, accountable team culture while managing commissary logistics and vending operations.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and schedule staff across commissary and vending
• Build a team culture centered on honesty, accountability, and professionalism
• Oversee daily operations, inventory, and order fulfillment
• Manage vending machines (stocking, maintenance coordination, and product levels)
• Serve as the primary liaison with facility leadership
• Ensure accurate financial handling (kiosk/vending funds, deposits, reporting)
• Maintain compliance with company policies and facility regulations

• Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong leadership presence with a focus on people development and team engagement
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical decision-making
• Ability to think strategically and solve problems effectively
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Supervisory/management experience preferred
• Experience in correctional or vending operations preferred, 
• Valid driver’s license with clean record

Work Schedule

• Monday – Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (flexible)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the day
• Consistent attendance and reliability required
• Ability to meet all applicable physical and regulatory standards

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $48,000 – $55,000
• Full-time, day shift (Monday–Friday)
