About this Location:

This position is located at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in San Luis Obispo, CA. Nestled in the heart of California’s Central Coast, our all-suite hotel offers convenient access to downtown SLO, local wineries, and scenic hiking trails. Surrounded by rolling hills and just minutes from the beach, our property provides the perfect home base for guests to relax, explore, and experience the charm of the Central Coast. 


Why do we need you?

To ensure all revenue is posted to the correct departments and to balance all revenue departments daily and complete all necessary reports.


What you will do:

1. Performs all audit procedures as set forth by the Hotel and company, daily.

2. Performs all required audit reports.

3. Verifies the status of all wake-up call requests and ensures they are properly handled.

4. Balances all cash receipts and work performed during the audit shift. Makes deposits of cash.

5. Prepares the front office for ‘A’ Shift and resets day’s business.

6. Acts as a Guest Services Agent during the nighttime hours.

7. Acts as the Manager on Duty during nighttime hours.

8. Attends and actively participates in all front office meetings.

9. Participates in all training and cross training programs.

10. Acts as PBX operator during the audit shift.

11. Supports and adheres to the core values, the mission statement, service fundamentals, and guest service philosophy as defined by the company.

12. Required to be always in uniform when working on the property, including wearing a name identification badge.


Skills and abilities you bring:

  • Understand and use math concepts to design a financial or economic system.
  • Work math problems quickly and accurately.
  • Understand and use computers and related equipment.
  • Speak and write clearly to report financial information.
  • Plan and direct the work of accounting clerks and other workers.
  • Use eyes, hands, and fingers accurately while operating a switchboard or computer keyboard.
  • Deal with the public, customers, employees, union and government officials with tact and courtesy.
  • Change activity frequently and cope with interruptions.

Schedule & Hours:

This is a part-time overnight position. The typical shift is 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Ability to work any scheduled days of the week based on business need, including holidays is required.
