Driver PUD (MC Licence)

What's The Role: 

We're seeking an experienced Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport needs. 

Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

• Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture. 

• Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling.

• Customer Service – Interacting with customers in a professional manner.

• Teamwork & Communication – Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight.

• Good Work Ethic – Reliable, supportive and the ability to have a go.

• Quality Checks & Control – Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery of paperwork. ​

Due to operational requirements, flexibility to undertake overnight trips and work away from home when required is essential.

What You'll Bring:

• Current and valid driver licence to perform the above-mentioned role.
• Previous Commercial Driving Experience detailed in your resume.
• Current BFM, preferred by not essential.
• A safe driving record, you will be required to provide a copy of your driving history. 
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Strong customer focus with good communication skills. 
• Well presented, professional and reliable.
