Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Network Operations Engineer to join an operational team within a highly critical enterprise environment. This role is ideal for professionals with strong hands-on experience in network operations and troubleshooting, who are comfortable working in complex, large-scale, and technologically diverse infrastructures.
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor and operate a large-scale enterprise network distributed across multiple sites
- Provide 2nd line technical support and contribute to Network Service Operations (NSO) activities
- Support network installations and migrations (WLAN, LAN, WAN)
- Execute configuration changes (proactively after approval or upon request)
- Apply patches and vendor-recommended fixes
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents identified through monitoring and management platforms
- Perform advanced troubleshooting in complex network environments
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure service continuity and performance
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise networking
- Proven experience in network operations, support, and troubleshooting within critical environments
- Strong knowledge of:
- IP networking (IPv4 and IPv6)
- DNS – Domain Name System
- IP Security Protocol
- Data Networks and Next Generation Networks (NGN)
- Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools
- Hands-on experience in multi-site and distributed infrastructures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of autonomy and accountability in daily operations
- Ability to manage priorities in demanding environments
- Clear communication and customer-oriented mindset
- Team-oriented with a collaborative approach
