Job Summary
The Executive Director, Senior Client Partner, PBHK will be responsible for leading and managing key client relationships within UOB Hong Kong's Private Bank, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional client service. This role involves developing and executing comprehensive wealth management strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families.
Job Responsibilities
* Cultivate and expand a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, identifying their financial needs and providing tailored wealth management solutions.
* Develop and implement strategic client acquisition plans to achieve aggressive growth targets for assets under management (AUM) and revenue.
* Act as a primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients, building strong, long-term relationships through proactive engagement and exceptional service.
* Lead the analysis of complex financial situations and recommend appropriate investment products, services, and strategies across various asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, structured products, alternative investments).
* Collaborate closely with internal product specialists, investment advisors, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions and ensure seamless client experience.
* Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscape to provide informed advice and maintain a competitive edge.
* Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, external regulations, and industry best practices.
* Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture within the Private Bank.
* Represent UOB Hong Kong at industry events, networking functions, and client gatherings to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP) are highly preferred.
* Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in private banking or wealth management, with a proven track record of managing substantial client portfolios and achieving business targets.
* Extensive experience in managing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth client relationships in Hong Kong or the Asia Pacific region.
* Deep understanding of a broad range of investment products and services, including capital markets, alternative investments, and wealth planning solutions.
* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the Hong Kong banking and wealth management industry.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and persuasively.
* Proven leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing team members.
* Highly results-oriented, proactive, and client-centric with a strong ethical compass.
* HKMA Type 1 and Type 4 licensed
* Holder of ECF on Private Wealth Management (PWM) accredited by Private Wealth Management Association
