About the Role
We are seeking a C-130 Wash Rack & Lubrication Aircraft Servicer (Part-time) to provide on-site aircraft cleaning and post-wash servicing operations. This part-time role directly contributes to aircraft readiness by performing exterior washes, interior cleaning, and lubrication of key components in accordance with Air Force Technical Orders.
This is a fully onsite position at Hurlburt Field AFB in Florida.
Responsibilities
- C-130 exterior washing performs full aircraft washes using approved detergents, equipment, and PPE.
- Interior cleaning clean cargo compartments, flight decks, and access areas as required.
- Post-wash lubrication applies lubricants to hinges, latches, doors, ramps, and other components per TO guidance.
- Corrosion prevention identifies and removes contaminants, assists with corrosion-control tasks, and reports discrepancies.
- Operate pressure washers, stands, hoses, and ground-handling equipment safely.
- Technical Order compliance requires adherence to all TOs, safety procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Team coordination that works with maintenance crews to ensure aircraft are properly prepared and cleared for wash and lubrication operations.
Requirements
Required Experience and Skills
- Prior experience performing aircraft services
- Prior experience performing aircraft wash services consisting of preparing, washing, and lubing aircraft.
- Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions and requests from customers and others.
- Effective written communication skills using appropriate business English.
- Human relations skills to build effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving, and common-sense skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Abide by the Federal Drug-Free workplace policy.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule, weekends and holidays as required.
- Must be able to be on call, available and reachable to be contacted 24/7, including weekends, after hours, and holidays, as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record will be required.
- Must possess and maintain U.S. security clearances at the minimum classification level of “Teir 1”, or the ability to obtain a security clearance. Must be able to pass a National Agency Check Investigation.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with C-130 or other military aircraft.
- Familiarity with lubrication procedures applicable C-130 series TOs.
- Previous wash rack, corrosion control, or flight line experience is a plus.
Education and Training
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.

- May be required to push/pull equipment weighing up to 70 pounds.
- Grasping both small & large objects.
- Climbing ladders and/or step stools.
Schedule
- Part-time 16 - 24 hours per week depending on mission needs.
- Flexible scheduling; may include mornings or afternoons and weekends.
