Premier Community Supports, LLC hires Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who provide high-quality, person-centered care to Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities through in-home and community-based services, including day programs, positive behavior supports, and 24-hour residential assistance. About the Role

At Premier Community Supports, we’re committed to empowering individuals to achieve meaningful, integrated employment. As an Job Developer, you’ll make a direct impact by supporting job seekers to build confidence, secure employment, and thrive in the workplace.


Job Development

  • Build positive relationships with local employers to identify job opportunities.
  • Assist individuals with completing applications and preparing for interviews.
  • Attend interviews alongside individuals for encouragement and support.
  • Facilitate discussions with employers around job responsibilities and workplace expectations.
  • Support individuals exploring self-employment, including basic business planning and start-up guidance.


Job Coaching & Support

  • Provide hands-on coaching to help individuals learn job tasks and routines.
  • Identify and implement workplace adaptations or accommodations.
  • Coordinate with residential, transportation, and natural support networks to ensure success.
  • Work closely with other support professionals (behavioral, medical, etc.).
  • Help individuals build strong communication and professional relationships with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Promote workplace integration through natural supports and gradual fading of job coaching.
  • Assist in career advancement efforts (increased hours, raises, promotions, etc.).
  • Offer on-the-job attendant care as needed.


Physical & Work Environment

  • Reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
  • Occasional lifting/moving up to 10 lbs.
  • Work may occur in community, employer worksites, and off-site locations.

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, insurance, and clean MVR
  • Access to a smartphone or internet-capable tablet
  • Strong communication skills with diverse individuals
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule
  • Basic proficiency with remote work tools and apps
  • Flexible availability to meet individual work schedules
  • Drug-free workplace compliance
  • CPR & First Aid certification (training provided if needed)


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Job Coach, PSW, DSP, or related role
  • Experience supporting individuals with disabilities
  • Training or education related to intellectual/developmental disabilities
