We are seeking a motivated and organized Service Coordinator to promote engagement and retention in treatment — helping individuals successfully connect to the next level of care and move forward on their path to recovery.

What You'll Do:

As a Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring clients receive seamless, coordinated care throughout their time at SCADD. Working across our locations and reporting to an assigned supervisor, you will help keep daily operations running smoothly while keeping the focus where it belongs — on the people we serve.

Responsibilities include:

  • Complete insurance verification and identify payment resources; assess client eligibility for benefits
  • Facilitate the medication self-administration process and ensure compliance with protocol required by the assigned department
  • Ensure that client medications are available and properly disposed of at the time of discharge in programs without nursing departments, in accordance with department protocol
  • Manage medical, behavioral, emergency, or outside problems quickly and efficiently by helping maintain a safe environment and notifying the proper authority as needed
  • Answer telephones, sort and distribute mail, and support day-to-day office operations
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports as necessary
  • Participate in the orientation of new employees and the transfer of knowledge necessary for the performance of duties

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or one to two years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, external providers, clients, families, and community partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly in one-on-one and group settings
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities and respond to changing needs
  • Ability to identify resources and minimize obstacles to support clients' long-term recovery
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
