COMPENSATION RANGE
Pay Range: $21 to $24 per hour.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:00pm with rest and meal breaks. Full time, non-exempt.
JOB SUMMARY
Vintage Design is seeking a Delivery Driver to support our West Sacramento, CA location. The basic function of the Warehouse Driver is to move material safely and accurately between vendors and warehouses. This includes checking, labeling and securing material, keeping track of paperwork and assisting with loading and unloading.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Daily pre-trip inspections and reporting of any equipment issues
· Safely and legally transport material between vendors and warehouses
· Pick up materials from our vendors, check the material and paperwork to ensure correct material is picked up, label everything with the store, customer name and order number.
· Secure cargo to prevent damage
· Deliver materials to the specified job locations.
· Adherent to all company safety standards and policies.
· Communicate with vendors, other drivers, warehouse staff, and management.
· Support responsibility to help Warehouse staff during busier seasons.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experience
· Comply with state, federal, and company safety regulations
· Reliable attendance and performance
· Excellent Organizational Skills and Time Management Skills
· Master the standard paperwork procedures
· Understand delivery schedules and routes
· Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance, clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
· Two years of prior experience as a Warehouse Driver
· Industry knowledge

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.
• Warehouse/Facility: May be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments (heat and cold), moving mechanical parts, vibration, and elevated noise levels.
• Job Site/Field: Exposure to active construction sites, outdoor weather conditions, dust, and fumes. Requires use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
• Travel: Requires travel to local vendors/warehouses/jobsites
