About the Role

Description

SCHEDULE

Monday - Friday from 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m., with some overtime available during the week and into Saturdays.


SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS - MACHINE OPERATOR / PRODUCTION OPERATOR / DEVELOPMENT OPERATOR

Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to laminate, expose or develop an image onto circuit boards.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow rout sheets
  • Follow all posted procedures.
  • Has responsibility for operation of laminating machines, exposing units and developers
  • Able to apply photo imageable resist to a copper panel, expose dry film primary image or LPO coated image. Able to work on inkjet machine.
  • Create photo tools for the printing of circuit boards.
  • Copying and developing films to be used.
  • Hand Lay-up artwork into multi-layer array panel before exposing film.
  • Verifying films for accuracy.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to department supervisor and Director of Operations.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma is required.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Standing for long periods of time is required.

No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.
