Job Description

We are recruiting for part-time Registered Nurse – Special Care Nursery (RN-SCN) positions at Epworth Freemasons, East Melbourne. The department consists of 9 birth suites, 10 bed special care nursery, 34 bed postnatal unit and a 6 bed hospital in the Park Hyatt Hotel and currently accommodates approximately 3,000 births per annum. 

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering an exceptional patient experience to women, their partners/families and their babies to have positive pregnancy, birth and postnatal experience
  • Providing a high standard of nursing/midwifery care
  • Encouraging and role-modelling empathy to patients and families

To be successful in this role…

An excellent communicator, you value team work and strong camaraderie as you place the patient at the heart of all your decisions. Flexibility in your thinking, patience and the ability to manage multiple priorities is vital to your success.

You will have

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
  • Relevant specialised training caring for neonates
  • Experience caring for babies requiring CPAP or high flow -Essential
