The Automotive Practice at Epsilon is a rapidly growing team, driving growth for major players in the automotive industry - from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to dealerships across North America. Part of a 1,600-member multinational team, the practice provides the automotive world’s largest service reminder platform, alongside agency services and digital media solutions. The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Technical Operations team, serving as a key link between Engineering and Operations. This role focuses on transforming data into actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and enhance client outcomes.

You will work on client reporting, operational requests, and data-driven initiatives, leveraging tools such as Oracle SQL, Microsoft Excel, and other analytics platforms. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, create features and user stories, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation.

 

As part of this team, you will contribute to the development and optimization of digital products at Epsilon, including search and social marketing technologies. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain both client-facing and internal reports and dashboards
  • Write and optimize complex queries using Oracle SQL
  • Use Microsoft Excel (including advanced formulas and VBA) for data manipulation and automation
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Create and refine features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for product enhancements
  • Support day-to-day operational data requests and troubleshoot data-related issues
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, data flows, and reporting logic
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Oracle SQL
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis and automation is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical teams, operations stakeholders, and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, and a strong team player

Nice to have skills:

 

  • PL/SQL knowledge and experience
  • Experience or familiarity with paid search and social digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads and Facebook Advertising
