About the Role

[What the role is]

[LTA-PT] DEPUTY/ ASSISTANT MANAGER, BUS OPERATIONS

[What you will be working on]

You will be part of the team to coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe public bus route movements with the provision of feasible bus priority measures. You will be required to:

  • Provide inputs on planned roadwork and road diversion consultations along bus plying routes, and work with relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure that public bus movements remain safe and are not adversely affected.
     

  • Review existing bus route corridors and assess the feasibility of traffic scheme enhancements to improve bus priority and bus operational movements.
     

  • Review the requirement for bus trials to ensure that new, amended, or increased capacity provision bus routes are safe for bus operations.
     

  • Attend to feedback, complaints, and suggestions from commuters, bus operators, and members of the public on matters pertaining to bus route movements.
