About the Role

 

Job Overview

Stello Products, Inc., a leading sign manufacturer since 1959, is seeking a dedicated and professional Live Chat Agent to join our team. This is a Full-Time position ideal for an individual passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. As a specialist in signage solutions for the highway industry, municipalities, and personal use, we pride ourselves on our commitment to quality. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing expert guidance and support to uphold our long-standing reputation for excellence.

 

Responsibilities


As a Live Chat Agent, you will be responsible for managing real-time customer interactions and ensuring a seamless experience. Key responsibilities include:
 

  • Engaging professionally with customers via our live chat platform to answer questions and provide immediate support.
  • Developing a deep understanding of our product range, including MUTCD signs, street signs, custom signage, and safety equipment, to offer accurate information.
  • Assisting customers with the entire sales process, from product selection and customisation to order placement and tracking.
  • Resolving customer issues, complaints, and inquiries efficiently and with a high degree of empathy.
  • Guiding users through our website to help them find the products that meet their specific needs.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, such as sales and production, to address complex customer requirements.
  • Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and feedback to contribute to service improvements.


 

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to help customers. Required qualifications include:
 

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, with previous experience as a live chat agent being highly advantageous.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a strong command of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, patient, and professional demeanour.
  • Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with CRM software and digital communication tools.
  • A proactive and customer-centric approach to all tasks.
  • An interest in or experience with the manufacturing or signage industry is desirable but not essential.
