About The Company
At igus®, we have been developing and manufacturing tribologically engineered motion plastics for over 60 years. We are a family-owned and operated company and remain committed to using our innovative materials to develop creative solutions tailored to customer applications, all while exceeding expectations through our quick and reliable service.
Our Mission: Improve all types of motion with motion plastics, while maintaining a carbon-neutral footprint and being the easiest company to work with.
With a focus on e-chain® cable carriers, chainflex® continuous-flex cables, iglide® dry-running bearings, and drylin® linear bearings and guides, our products are extensively tested in real-world conditions in our 41,000-square-foot testing facility in Germany.
We also offer low-cost automation products to make automation more affordable and accessible. Our low-cost robotics marketplace, RBTX, takes this a step further by bringing together components and solutions from dozens of manufacturers and providing extensive integration support.
We offer quick and reliable service, with over 80,000 products available from stock in our 350,000-square-foot Rhode Island warehouse and the ability to ship up to 96% of orders within 24 hours. Our team of sales engineers and technical experts are available from 8AM to 8PM, coast to coast, providing on-site assistance and engineering services. We also offer complimentary online CAD files, online product configurators, and free product samples.
