About the Role

We are now looking for a Technical Support Specialist to our Technical Support and Service Team. Our team is in the key role at Bluefors, since we give our customers the best possible support when working with our systems. We are an international team of skilled professionals, and we are proud of what we do – now you can join our growth story.

Your tasks will be to communicate closely with our customers, providing timely and accurate technical assistance related to Bluefors cryostat system and its operation. In addition, you will cooperate with the different in-house departments, for example production, QEHSC, R&D and planning. You will have an interesting, versatile role at our customer interface in which you will succeed with a positive, service-minded attitude, systematic way of working and excellent people skills.

We expect you to have a degree in applied physics or engineering, or other technical background, and 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Experience in ERP and/or CRM system usage is definitely seen as an advantage as well as experience in using Dilution Refrigerators and knowledge of technical drawings – those skills would help you in your daily work, but naturally you will be getting a full introduction, to be successful in this position.

For this role we do not offer support for relocation.

Main responsibilities

  • Owning the cases requiring technical support, including troubleshooting, defining fix plan, and ensuring the implementation of the fix

  • Ensuring customer satisfaction in technical support questions

  • Documentation and quality assurance of technical support provided

  • Other responsibilities: maintaining installed base data

What we expect from you

  • Degree in applied physics or engineering, or other technical background

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience

  • Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken

  • Systematic way of working, carefulness, and commitment to high-quality

  • Service-minded attitude and good interaction skills

We also appreciate

  • Experience in ERP and/or CRM system usage (e.g. Salesforce)

  • Experience in using Dilution Refrigerator

  • Knowledge of technical drawings

  • Positive and hands-on attitude
