About the Role

Location: Bend, Oregon


$38-$45/hour + Supportive In-House Therapy Team


At Bend Transitional Care, we’re dedicated to providing exceptional skilled nursing and rehabilitation services that empower our residents to recover, thrive, and live well. We’re hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (PRN) to join a collaborative, therapist-driven team where your work directly impacts recovery outcomes every day. As a COTA, you’ll partner closely with licensed Occupational Therapists to help residents regain independence and improve their quality of life through purposeful, meaningful activity-based therapy.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver therapy services following individualized treatment plans
  • Support residents in performing daily living and rehabilitative activities
  • Observe and document patient progress and communicate updates to the care team
  • Educate residents and families on adaptive techniques and home programs
  • Foster a supportive and collaborative therapy environment

What You Bring

  • Active Oregon COTA License (we support and reimburse licensing costs)
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Valid CPR certification
  • SNF, post-acute, or long-term care experience preferred—but not required
  • Strong clinical knowledge of therapy techniques and patient care
  • A compassionate, team-oriented approach

Requirements

Qualifications

Education:  

  • Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.


Licenses/Certification:  

  • Current COTA license required.
  • Current CPR certification required.


Experience: 

  • Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
