The Role:
You will be the backbone of a 163-unit apartment community in Minneapolis, ensuring our residents have a safe, clean, and functional place to live. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Turnovers & Repairs: Prepping units for new residents and handling daily work orders.
- Systems Maintenance: Managing boilers, furnaces, and plumbing (we will train you for your boiler license!).
- Preventative Care: Conducting quality checks to catch issues before they happen.
- Grounds Upkeep: General maintenance and essential snow removal to keep the community accessible.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: 1+ year of mechanical or basic maintenance experience (Plumbing, Appliances, Electrical, etc.).
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid understanding of general repair techniques.
- Licensing: Valid Driver's License, insurance and a reliable vehicle are a must.
- Certifications: Boiler license must have.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Comfortable bending, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead for extended periods.
