Job Type: Full-Time, Nonexempt
Location: Modesto, CA
Pay Range: $20.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, generally 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., including an unpaid duty-free meal period. Schedule may vary based on program, school site, training, and organizational needs.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Quality Control, the Site Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination and implementation of high-quality educational, enrichment, and recreational programming at an assigned Club or school site. The Site Coordinator provides direct supervision, training, coaching, and performance oversight of Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) and is responsible for ensuring program requirements, safety standards, organizational policies, and applicable program expectations are consistently met.
Requirements
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
· Plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure the implementation of high-quality programs and activities within designated core program areas and in accordance with required program guidelines.
· Oversee the implementation of educational, arts, athletic, enrichment, mentorship, and recreational activities for youth in small and large group settings.
· Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate Youth Development Professionals (YDPs) to support productive and effective job performance.
· Provide ongoing guidance, role modeling, and direct supervision to Club members.
· Promote youth engagement and encourage consistent participation in Club programs and activities.
· Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where youth can learn, interact, and grow.
· Support positive youth behavior by consistently reinforcing Club expectations, implementing approved behavior management practices, and documenting and escalating significant behavioral concerns in accordance with organizational policies.
· Establish and maintain program environments that support the health, safety, and well-being of members.
· Maintain regular professional communication with the Director of Quality Control, school personnel, parents and guardians, and applicable program partners regarding program needs, concerns, and relationship development.
· Maintain and submit accurate program schedules, attendance records, program documentation, and required reports within established deadlines.
· Create and maintain program inventory and ensure the appropriate storage and maintenance of program equipment and supplies.
· Ensure program areas are organized, clean, and prepared for daily operations.
· Provide coverage and perform Youth Development Professional responsibilities when necessary to maintain required program operations and supervision.
· Attend required meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
· Assist with recruitment and onboarding activities as assigned and support the training, coaching, and ongoing supervision of staff and volunteers.
· Immediately report safety concerns, incidents, suspected policy violations, and other significant concerns in accordance with organizational reporting procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Previous experience working with school-age youth in an educational, after-school, recreational, or youth development environment required.
· Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
· Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
· Ability to effectively supervise staff, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate program records and documentation.
· Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with youth, parents and guardians, school personnel, staff, and community partners.
· Ability to learn and consistently implement organizational policies, procedures, safety requirements, and program standards.
· Ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification within the timeframe required by the organization.

Employment is contingent upon completion of all legally required and organizational pre-employment screening and onboarding requirements applicable to the position. Employees must complete and maintain required mandated reporter, child abuse prevention, safety, and other training required by Boys & Girls Clubs of Stanislaus County and applicable law.
