Job Description
This position will be contracted through Bosch’s external vendor under a one-year agreement.
The EPM department focuses on software tooling development to support embedded products in the XC which including Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Car Multimedia domain. We develop tools that streamline software and system development for technologies such as radar, video, HMI and ultrasonic sensors. Serving global teams across Japan, China, Europe, and Vietnam, we contribute to the advancement of secure, safe, and intelligent mobility solutions.
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing engineering team and support the stability, scalability, and performance of our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. This is a hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving skills, deep coding experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues. Ideal candidates will be comfortable working in hybrid environments and have solid experience with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and automation tools.
Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Azure DevOps and Jenkins.
• Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters, handle incident response and performance tuning.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and bash scripting for cloud provisioning.
• Support both on-premises infrastructure and cloud services (hybrid model).
• Maintain software configuration management tools and establish version control best practices.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and other DevOps engineers to ensure high system reliability and streamlined release cycles.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies and backup solutions.
• Develop architectural diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation plans for Azure and Jenkins solutions, incorporating backend technologies as needed.
• Develop cloud migration strategies, including planning, execution, and troubleshooting during the transition to cloud environments.
• Embed DevOps practices into CI/CD pipelines (security scanning, dependency checks).
• Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
• Optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability (FinOps awareness).
• Use tools like Ansible for configuration management and system automation.
• Maintain consistent configurations across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Implement end-to-end observability using Open Telemetry.
• Collect and correlate logs, metrics, and traces across:
o Azure resources
o GitHub Actions pipelines
o On-prem systems
• Build dashboards and alerting using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK.
• Define and track SLIs/SLOs to improve system reliability.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• English communication fluently in both speaking and writing.
• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, effective communicator, team player, and proactive in taking ownership and driving resolution in fast-paced environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging complex systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud infrastructure, particularly in hybrid (on-premises and cloud) environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Open Telemetry and other monitoring tools.
• Skilled in automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins, and GitHub APIs.
• Knowledgeable in containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as microservices architectures.
• Having Microsoft Azure Certificates (AZ-104/AZ-305/AZ400)
Nice to have:
• Experience with:
o Azure VM Scale Sets (VMSS)
o Azure networking (VNet, NSG, VPN, Private Endpoints)
