Job Description

Eurofins Athens Analysis Laboratories, a private independent laboratory and part of the Eurofins Scientific group with over 950 laboratories in more than 60 countries, offers reliable and impartial testing services of food, water, cosmetics, medicines, dietary supplements, and environmental samples, contributing to the safety of the products and the protection of public health. To support the company's significant growth, we are seeking an Analytical Service Manager to join our team of experts at our facilities in Metamorfosi, Attiki.

The ASM Expert will act as a key technical and coordination point for food-related services, while also managing communication and collaboration with other Eurofins laboratories (intercompany network), ensuring seamless service delivery, optimized testing allocation, and high client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the main interface between clients, laboratory teams, and commercial departments for food testing services.
  • Provide expert support on food analyses (microbiological & chemical), ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, clarification of testing scopes, and interpretation of analytical results.
  • Coordinate analytical requests with other Eurofins laboratories across the network.
  • Identify and manage sample allocation to the most appropriate lab (based on scope, capacity, and turnaround time).
  • Ensure alignment on pricing, timelines, and service scope with intercompany partners.
  • Monitor interco workflows to ensure timely delivery and resolution of issues.
  • Act as the central contact point for intercompany communication related to food testing services.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Business Development teams to identify cross-border opportunities within the Eurofins network.
  • Promote the full capabilities of the Eurofins network to clients.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 and relevant EU food regulations.
  • Monitor KPIs (TAT, client satisfaction, interco efficiency) and propose improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across lab operations and interco processes.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on service workflows and intercompany processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and new analytical services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a food testing laboratory or food industry environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (ISO 17025, EU legislation).
  • Experience with microbiological and/or chemical food testing methods.
  • Experience coordinating projects or working with multiple stakeholders (intercompany exposure is a strong plus).
  • Familiarity with LIMS systems; CRM experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills in Greek and English.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Proactive, organized, and solution-driven approach.
