About the Role
Description
The Certified Subaru Technician is responsible for performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models. This role ensures high-quality, efficient work while maintaining manufacturer standards and providing a great experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer and inventory vehicles
- Complete manufacturer-recommended services and warranty repairs according to factory specifications
- Accurately document repair findings, recommendations, and completed services in the dealership’s repair order system
- Conduct multi-point inspections and communicate results to service advisors
- Maintain shop equipment and personal tool inventory in excellent working condition
- Stay current on manufacturer technical bulletins, recalls, and training requirements
- Ensure all work meets dealership, manufacturer, and safety guidelines
- Collaborate with the service advisor and parts departments to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of automotive technician experience (main line, flat rate, or dealership experience preferred)
- Current ASE certifications or factory certifications
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with the ability to repair all vehicle systems
- Must own a complete set of automotive tools
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
