Job Description
The Reporting Executive is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and issuing accurate laboratory test reports in compliance with applicable standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality management systems. The role requires close coordination with laboratory analysts, quality personnel, and customer service teams to ensure timely and error-free reporting of test results.
- Prepare and issue laboratory test reports based on approved analytical results.
- Verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of test data before report release.
- Ensure reports comply with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, customer specifications, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Review calculations, units, test methods, specifications, and reporting formats for accuracy.
- Coordinate with laboratory analysts to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of laboratory data andcustomer information.
- Ensure timely issuance of reports within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain records of issued reports, amendments, and revisions.
- Assist in document control activities and maintain reporting templates.
- Support internal and external audits by providing reporting-related documentation.
- Communicate with internal departments regarding report status and customer requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
- Follow laboratory safety, quality, and compliance procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in a food testing laboratory or analytical laboratory.
