What you will do:

Shift and Schedule

 

  • Full-Time Position
  • Monday–Friday.
  • Start time between 7am/7:30am until work is done, around 4:30pm
  • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.

 

 

  • Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials in warehouse and yard
  • Work outdoors with exposure to all weather conditions
  • Verify order contents and maintain documentation (pick tickets, inventory count sheets)
  • Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory
  • Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
  • Preserve safe and clean work environment which includes cleaning and painting
  • As needed, operate metal fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, rollers, and cutting machines) to produce roofing components according to specifications.
  • As needed, read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and measurements to ensure accuracy in production.
  • As needed, maintain and troubleshoot fabrication machinery to ensure optimal performance.

What you will bring:

  • Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment; warehouse experience preferred 
  • Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and co-workers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset 
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to work and the ability to regularly work early morning hours 
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or building supply industry preferred.
  • Ability to operate fabrication machinery safely and efficiently preferred.
  • Strong mechanical skills and understanding of basic measurements and tolerances preferred.
