Job Position: HR Generalist
Location: Onsite Ft. Lauderdale, FL
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The HR Generalist at Catch Coverage serves as a trusted partner to employees and leadership across
the organization, supporting a broad range of human resources functions with a strong emphasis on
employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management. This role is the frontline HR
presence for our Remote, Clearwater, Ft. Lauderdale workforce and plays a critical role in maintaining a
positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. The HR Generalist brings a solutions-oriented
mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the experience to navigate complex employee matters with
professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters, providing guidance to managers and
employees on HR policies, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
• Conduct thorough, objective, and timely workplace investigations into employee complaints, policy
violations, misconduct, and other sensitive matters, including documenting findings and
recommending appropriate corrective action.
• Facilitate and participate in formal and informal hearings, disciplinary meetings, and termination
proceedings, ensuring all actions are consistent, documented, and legally defensible.
• Gather, organize, and maintain thorough documentation in support of performance management
actions, corrective counseling, written warnings, PIPs, and employee dismissals.
• Partner with managers to develop and execute performance improvement documents, ensuring
clarity, consistency, and appropriate follow-through.
• Advise managers on documentation best practices and coach them through difficult employee
conversations to ensure outcomes are handled with professionalism and care.
• Lead and facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding programs, ensuring a welcoming,
organized, and informative experience that connects new hires to the Catch Health culture from
day one.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the onboarding experience to increase engagement, retention,
and time-to-productivity for new team members.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic employee records, HR files, and documentation in
compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
• Support compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations including Title VII, ADA,
FMLA, FLSA, and state-specific requirements.
• Partner with HR leadership on the rollout of HR programs and initiatives.
• Support HR reporting and analytics, providing data and insights to HR leadership as requested.
• Serve as a resource for employees seeking guidance on HR policies, benefits questions, and
general workplace concerns, maintaining a high standard of service and confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Payroll, Compliance, and Operations to ensure
seamless HR service delivery.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Must be available to work fully onsite in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. This is not a remote or hybrid position.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems; experience with Paylocity a plus.
• High level of discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in handling confidential and sensitive
matters.
• Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations, including documentation of findings
and recommendations for corrective action.
• Experience facilitating disciplinary hearings, termination meetings, and formal employee
proceedings.
• Knowledge of employment law, including Title VII, ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and applicable state
regulations.
• Proven ability to gather and organize documentation in support of performance management
actions and employee dismissals.
• Experience delivering new employee orientation and managing onboarding processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and
professionally across all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
60,000 - 65,000 USD Annually
