About the Role

Company Description

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-to-be-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business.

We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets.

Job Description

This role is based in our Ha Phan Building Office

We are seeking a creative and energetic Assistant Marketing Manager to strategize, plan, and execute comprehensive B2B marketing campaigns for food & hospitality and machinery industry, that drive strong exhibition attendance and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create compelling and effective content across multiple channels to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and strengthen market positioning.
  • Always updating new marketing channels and trends to stay ahead of industry developments, optimize campaign performance, and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Integrated campaign management: Plan and execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing campaigns (online + offline), managing budgets and timelines while collaborating with Event teams to track performance and optimize results.
  • Manage SEO/SEM strategies including Google AdWords and Display Network campaigns, optimize website content, social media channels and user experience, and monitor ROI to improve digital performance.
  • Conduct market research to build and maintain quality databases, segment audiences for targeted campaigns, and provide competitive market intelligence.
  • Work with Operations and Data Management team on the visitor registration system for its flow and effectiveness, pre-show and on-site, as well as the compilation of statistics and audits.
  • Conceptualise, design, provide copy and supervise production of marketing collaterals (both on and offline) for events.
  • Work with trade media and partners such as trade associations to extend promotional reach.
  • Plan and make promotional trips to encourage more trade buyers to visit the events and also to encourage more cross-promotional partnership.
  • Conceptualise and manage onsite programmes such as but not limited to knowledge theatres and visitor tours.
  • Oversee on-site marketing operations including survey management, testimonial collection, live social media coverage, and visitor support to ensure seamless event execution.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of working experience in Senior marketing is required for the position
  • Required Skill(s): Sensitive to B2B marketing opportunities and trend-driven content creation to maximize engagement, Excellent communications skills both orally & in writing, meticulous, self-driven with high levels of initiative, multi-task, deliver quality work within tight deadline, self-starter with an analytical and creative mind.
  • Knowledge and ability with IT systems including core MS Office packages (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access), Canva,...
  • Creative and devoted to driving event success.
