Key Roles:
- Assist in the identification, evaluation, and selection of vendors and suppliers. Conduct supplier research, supplier qualification assessments, and vendor due diligence to ensure compliance with company standards and requirements.
- Support contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and conditions. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Process purchase orders and manage procurement transactions in accordance with established policies and procedures. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining accurate records of purchases and expenses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors. Serve as the primary point of contact for supplier inquiries, issues, and escalations. Work collaboratively with suppliers to address performance issues, resolve disputes, and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze pricing proposals, cost structures, and total cost of ownership (TCO) to evaluate supplier bids and proposals. Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, and value optimization through strategic sourcing and negotiation tactics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the procurement process. Monitor supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular risk assessments to mitigate supplier-related risks.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and optimize procurement processes and procedures. Implement best practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness in sourcing and procurement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience
2-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
